Tim studied Political Sciences and Law at the Freie Universität in Berlin. He was born in Munich and learned what it is like to feel culturally „strange“ when living in the United States, Belgium, the Middle East, and South Africa. In 2003 he founded interpool and has since been trying to keep track of our activities in the fields of recruiting, assessment and training of diagnostic processes in a context of globalization, diversity and innovation. His regional focus areas - besides Germany - are the USA, East-Asia, and the Arab World, where he traines and consults in English, German and French. Being a Trainer and Systemic Coach and a fan of Otto Scharmer`s Theory-U approach, he is a strong advocator of learning „the heart way“. Tim is a board member of the German-Asian Business Circle e.V..
Anne Schwarz studied European Studies and HR Development and gained relevant international experience in Spain, the USA and Mexico. She manages our International Assessment Centers and Management Audits, conducts trainings on Intercultural Job Interviews and – being a trained systemic consultant on Organisational Development - consults on comprehensive Talent Acquisition and Graduate Development Programs in a global environment. Her regional focus areas are Spain, Latin America, and all of Southern Europe, where she handles projects using English, German and Spanish.
Gabriela Nangia has a mixed German - Indian - Polish cultural background, which is probably why she was bound to study Intercultural Human Resource Development and Communication Management, which she did at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena. Her work responsibilities comprise our International Recruitment projects, Assessment- and Development centers. In addition she supports our clients to make their Recruitment contribute more viably to their Diversity Management strategies. Besides her mother tongues German and Polish, she speaks English.
Gabriella Gal, originally from Hungary, studied Psychology in Budapest with a focus on Work- and Organizational Psychology. Working in the field of cross-cultural trainings, she spent more than a year in China before coming to Germany to join the interpool team. Her expertise at interpool encompasses every aspect of national and international recruitment, psychometric tests and skills assessment especially with a focus on Eastern-Europe and China, using besides her native Hungarian her fluent English and German skills.
Juan Sanchez originally studied Tourism & Business Management in Tenerife, Spain. After starting his career in the Hospitality sector, he then joined a Berlin based startup as a team lead in recruitment and customer service, before joining interpool as a Senior Consultant for international projects and IT positions. Juan is native Spanish, married to a Polish, speaks fluent German and he likes Asian and African food and music. A true interpool spirit, and always up for a good laugh with friends and colleagues.
Jeanne Kruschel's special connection to France stems not only from her bilingual education at the Lycée Français in Berlin, but also from the school year she spent in our neighboring country, to expand her linguistic expertise. During her studies at the Humboldt-University in Berlin she also spent time in Italy, which is why she is now fluent not only in German and English, but French and Italian as well. Jeanne was employed in the administrative branch of a well-known international car dealership for several years, during which she discovered her natural affinity to financial management and bookkeeping – an affinity she honed by visiting evening classes after work. She now works in interpool`s candidate management and runs our internal finances and general administration.
Sarah Limo Flores studied business psychology at the university of Göttingen and technical university of Braunschweig. After longer stays in Argentina and Peru she completed a trainer qualification for intercultural competences. Beside the conception and implementation of intercultural trainings she is also lecturing in two colleges. At interpool she is responsible for national and international recruiting projects. Furthermore she participates in planning and implementing assessment centres and leads intercultural and interview trainings. In addition to her mother tongue German, she also speaks English and Spanish fluently.
After volunteering one year in Russia, Katharina studied Intercultural Business Communication, Slavic and Eastern European Studies both in Jena and Berlin. After further living and studying experiences abroad - in Belarus and Russia - she has joined interpool. She supports in English, German and Russian our international recruitment and assessment projects and further our intercultural interview trainings.
Robert Bowen's background is of German and Irish origin. After his apprenticeship in Banking, he studied Business, Economics and Adult Education. Subsequently, his interest in Behavioural Sciences lead him to his Master Degree in Intercultural Personnel Development and Communication Management. Robert’s most enthralling experience abroad was a field research project on Microfinance in the villages and slums of Vadodara (India). Robert’s main responsibility at Interpool is to support the team on international recruiting projects and intercultural assessment centres. Next to this, Robert occasionally works as a trainer and freelance consultant on organisation and communication matters, for various companies, public entities and non-profit organisations.
Mareike Schmitt, born in Germany, lived abroad in the USA and in Great Britain. After her time overseas she moved back to Germany and finished her Abitur in Berlin. After ten years of living in Berlin she moved to southern Germany and studied Health Care Management while working at Kieser Training. In April 2018 she started working by Interpool helping out with the recruiting management and national and international recruiting projects.
Nik Hanebaum studied psychology with a focus on work and organizational psychology. For this purpose, he moved to the Netherlands early, where he not only completed his studies in Enschede and Amsterdam, but also promoted the integration of international students and organized international introductory weeks. After his master's degree in Amsterdam, he started recruiting and took on international projects focusing on Eastern Europe and the Netherlands. At Interpool, Nik is involved in the International Recruitment and Selection process while also helping to design and implement national and international assessment centers.
Juan Carlos Limo Flores, originally from Peru, is Informatics Engineer. After eight years working in the IT area as Systems Analyst in Lima, he moved to Germany in 2016. In Berlin he both worked as IT Administrator and studied intensely German, as well. “Juanca”, how he is called by his interpool colleagues, is married to a German and he loves playing football, theater and of course technology. At interpool, he occupies two roles: He is both in charge of the IT infrastructure and helps our clients to find the right IT staff as IT Recruitment Consultant.
After finishing school in Hamburg, Iris Kerres spent some time in Peru and Ecuador for a social internship. Her interest in different cultures led to studying intercultural French and Latin American studies and International Business in Halle (Saale). During and after her studies she did two further internships in Argentina and Bolivia. At interpool Iris supports the team in national and international recruitment projects since October 2017. She furthermore studies Human Resource Management in a Master program to expand her knowledge in HR.
Miriam Müller – raised in Stuttgart – studied Industrial/ Organisational Psychology. Next to her studies in the Netherlands, she also supported international students as a career coach and mentor. Previous to that, she lived and worked as a horse groom and trainer on various farms across Australia and New Zealand. This time had a big cultural impact on her and strengthened her wish to spend time abroad. Now being back in Germany for the moment, Miriam assists interpool with international recruiting and assessment projects.
Natalia Oglanova, born in Saint Petersburg, loves Argentine tango, Japanese food, Russian literature and her international colleagues. After her linguistics studies in Potsdam and a year abroad in Paris and Bordeaux, she decided to go for a second degree and finally found her home in the discipline of psychology. At interpool she combines her experience in international recruiting and assessment projects.
Jan Grossmann - born and raised in Baden-Württemberg - completed a dual course of study in Stuttgart in the field of business administration and commerce. During his practical phases, he first came into contact with HR topics, which woke his interest in the HR sector, especially in recruiting. In his spare time, he manages and coordinates his basketball club as a department manager, where he has been active as a player, coach and referee for over 10 years.
Elisa Hachenberger was born in Berlin and studied Psychology at the Humboldt University there. She gained international experience mainly in Canada and Spain, which is also why she speaks fluent English and Spanish. Early in her career she conducted intercultural workshops and accompanied international candidates and students during her studies. Later she expanded her professional experience into the area of diagnostics, personnel selection and consulting, among others within the Organizational Psychological Services at the German Bundesagentur für Arbeit. At interpool she handles national and international recruiting projects as well as a variety of tasks with a focus on aptitude testing and skills assessment processes. Apart from that she supports our clients in their application management processes and their related "candidate experience".
Clara Windisch, born in Dresden, studied African literature and Gender Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin. After spending one college year in Cape Town, South Africa she gained further international experience during a study visit to different countries in western Africa. She also worked as a volunteer in the Netherlands, giving language courses for refugees without legal status. After working at the Freie Volksbühne Berlin e.V. and as assistant to the board at a Berlin based Think Tank she now supports our clients in their application management process.
Patrick Knuth, born in Berlin, studied psychology with a focus on work, organizational and health psychology. After his first experiences in the field of management consulting, he decided to focus on personnel selection. For almost two years he worked as a recruiter for commercial positions at an international logistic and transport group. At interpool he is in charge of the pre-selection and the application management of talents for our clients.
Helena Drawert – a native from Wolfsburg in Northern Germany – studied German Linguistics, Sociology and Media Sciences at universities in Hanover and Madrid. Early in her career she worked as a scientific assistant and lecturer in the field of intercultural communication and trainings as well as for German as a foreign language. Furthermore she gained work experiences at universities and companies in England, India and Mexico. Being an interculturalist from her heart, after relocating to Berlin for personal reasons she was bound to join interpool eventually, which she then did in early 2018. Since then she is involved in a variety of recruitment, training and consulting projects, focusing on the field of trainees and young professionals.
Sergül Tanriver – born in Berlin with Turkish roots – studied Business Administration at the Technical University of Berlin. She worked for several years in the Human Resources department of an international biotech company where she was responsible for all students, trainees and temps. After spending two and a half years in Cologne as a youth project leader she moved back to Berlin and completed further education as Systemic Business Coach. At interpool she is in charge of the pre-selection and the application management of university graduates and trainees for our clients.
Julia Klose – born and raised in Bremen – owns a completed apprenticeship in the field of office communication and studied business administration in Berlin. In her working-student job Julia was able to gain valuable experiences in working with intercultural teams. She made her first practical experiences in the area of recruiting during her time as a member of the Recruiting-Team for technical graduates at Deutsche Bahn. At interpool Julia is in charge of the pre-selection and the application management of university graduates and trainees for our clients.
Anne Köpke spent most of her childhood in Schleswig-Holstein and has been living and working in Berlin and Brandenburg since 2002. She spent a longer time in Spain. She dreamed of working in a bookstore and completed an apprenticeship (Ausbildung) as a Bookseller. Consequently she worked there for a couple of years before she decided to study sociology, psychology and education at the University of Potsdam. As sociologist she worked for five years in the city council of a smaller city in Brandenburg. There she was responsible for change and process management. In the course of her work, she discovered the concept of systemic counselling as a very fertile approach to finding harmonious solutions for all parties. For interpool Anne supports the recruiting-centre team in the back office.
Lara-Marie Boellert was born and also grew up in the North of Berlin. She did her Bachelor degree in Business Administration with focus on Marketing at the SRH University Berlin. As a working student in the Human Resources department of an IT company she gained experiences in organizing the monthly onboarding sessions and also helping with the development of an applicants’ software solution. Being now a Master student, Lara simultaneously is doing a traineeship at interpool supporting each of our teams at different stages.
Michel Kuschela, born and raised in Berlin, gained first practical experience in Security Management and dealt in this context with questions of Human Resource Management. Since October 2018 he is part of interpool as a working student, where he is going to support each of interpool’s teams at different stages of his traineeship. In his free time, Michel is a passionate badminton player and gets fascinated by the game of chess.
Anette Violet studied Occupational and Organizational Psychology and holds a PhD in Social Sciences. Apart from her expertise in Personnel Selection and internal as well as external Assessment Processes, she has worked for many years as a facilitator and consultant for international commercial and non-profit organizations. Her living and working experience includes Latin America and Africa, her working languages are German English, and Spanish. She is passionate about making international and intercultural teams work, with all of the frictions, misunderstandings and learning experiences going along.
Kristina van Ede studied industrial and organizational psychology in Amsterdam and Berlin, where she lives today. As a Senior Human Resource Manager, she worked for more than 7 years for Sony Corporation, being responsible for the management assessment and –development processes there. As a trained assessor, she gained extensive experience in the design and implementation of assessment and development centers in an international context. Since 2010 she has been working as a systemic coach, organizational and process consultant in German, English and Dutch. Her passion for traveling took her to a variety of countries in Asia, Africa, Australia and Latin America.
Laura Schwan studied Psychology and Business Administration in Berlin and Barcelona. In addition to her expertise in Aptitude Testing and related diagnostic processes she is a trained Systemic Coach, Business Coach, and a Trainer for (intercultural) Communication and Leadership. Being one of the earliest employees of interpool, she developed our first Intercultural Assessment Center back in 2006. She is originally from Berlin and gained relevant international experience in India, China, the UK, and Latin America.
Dr. Jingjing Wang studied Education Science, Management & Economics in China, Germany and in the USA. As a trainer and consultant she works mainly within the automotive industry on topics of cross-cultural leadership development and China-Germany Business Development. Beyond her practical work she completed her Ph.D. Dissertation ate the University of Bayreuthe. Her thesis on the "Impact of a Global Leadership Development Program for German and Chinese Managers" is available at the Springer Gabler Verlag.
Ludmila Zimmer has studied International Management in Germany, Montpellier, and Moscow and initially pursued a career in sales and marketing for a German capital goods manufacturer. Born in Moscow, she has been supporting German and International companies to manage their sales activities in the Russian-speaking countries for 10 years now. The participants in her seminars benefit from her operational and practical experience as well as from her sound theoretical knowledge in the field of intercultural communication with Russia and Eastern Europe.
